Dhimmi Watch -- another Moslem is "deeply offended"

By Aussiegirl

No, Mrs. Sadat - there oughta be a law forbidding rioting mobs who pillage, burn and kill over some perceived slight or insult and their enabling apologists like you, masquerading as open-minded Moslems innocently calling for restraint. YOU are the enemy - the soft spoken ones who try to convince us that you are all so peaceful, when we know in our heart you would cut our throats through your seductive talk of hobbling our own freedoms as surely as the rabble would. You're welcome -- now go home where you can pass all the laws that you like in your country of origin.

New York Daily News - Ideas & Opinions - Jehan Sadat: Religiously offensive cartoons must be outlawed...

There is no law that says cartoonists cannot draw caricatures. There is no law that says television commentators cannot equate terrorism with Islam. There is no law that says we should not defame the religions of others. But there should be! There should be a law that says reasonable, responsible people of any faith, or no faith for that matter, cannot attack others simply because of their beliefs. There should be a law that requires us to appreciate the cultures and beliefs of our fellow human beings. In fact, there is a law: Do unto others, as you would have them do unto to you. In Islam, we say, "Do for your brother what you want for yourself."

Why isn't Mrs. Sadat preaching to the rioters? They're the ones on the attack. Cartoonists and TV commentators may be insulting hypocrites, but they aren't killing people and destroying property.

To use her logic, there ought to be a law against publishing the kind of lies and propaganda she writes.

The cartoons drawn by the Danes were an illustration of Muslim hypocrisy, not an "attack" on Islam or its founder. Of course, the same can't be said for the fake ones.

Mrs. Sadat has lived in America since 1985. She should know that. And of course she does.

Mrs. Sadat is a senior fellow with the Sadat Chair for Peace and Development at the University of Maryland, College Park.

Are the administrators at the U of Maryland insane? Or just stupid?

Mrs. Sadat is a mole, every bit as dangerous as Philby, et al. Sadly, America still hasn't learned how to recognize, and deal with, real threats to its national security.

God help us all.
