Swedish publisher withdraws textbook

By Aussiegirl

Well, it's begun, the West's self-censorship a.k.a. capitulation. Check out this article that Ethel C. Fenig over at The American Thinker alerted us to. Here's her pithy comment on the whole sad situation:

The potential seeds of a Moslem victory in Europe have been sown; a Swedish
publishing company has withdrawn a decade old textbook because of two pictures
of yep…Mohammed.

And just who drew these pictures? Danish cartoonists?
Crusader descendants? Jews?

The pictures were taken from a 14th century
Persian (now known as Iran, ECF) manuscript and a 13th century Iraqi manuscript.

Well whaddaya know; over 700 years ago the ancestors of the inflamed
mobs of today drew pictures of the founder of their religion. What would they
think of their descendants’ behavior?

A Catholic priest was murdered in Turkey on Feb 5, probably in the crazed reaction to the Danish cartoons.

Here is a story about him and his work in Turkey:

Does the publishing house really think this idiotic, knee-jerk overreaction is sufficiently politically correct to save the sorry butts of European appeasers?

What a bunch of maroons.

Speaking of appeasement: This comes the same day as the "Contact Group" announces the results of the Kosovo status talks before they begin. Independence awarded for ethnic cleansing serbs.
