That fat lady's not going to sing if the State Culture Committee has anything to say about it

In Russia, on orders from the State Duma, the State Culture Committee has begun an investigation into an opera being staged at the Bolshoi Theater after a deputy complained that the opera was "pornographic". The opera is a new one which depicts the opera giants of Tchaikovsky, Mussorgsky, Wagner, Verdi and Mozart as being cloned by Russian scientists, and "reincarnated" thus in modern day Russia, falling on hard times after the fall of the Soviet Union. The Bolshoi has protested saying that the move is censorship and that any theater decides for itself what to stage.
