Gunmen Raid Baghdad Security Firm, Abduct 50 Employees

By Aussiegirl

This doesn't sound like a run-of-the-mill terrorist attack on some random civilian target aimed at creating terror and mayhem. This sounds more like a tactical raid intended to provide some intel or leverage in order to stage an even larger attack. The fact that it was a security company, that such a large number of employees were taken hostage (will they torture them to ferret out secrets of the places they are tasked to protect?) -- they probably rifled all the files and seized the computers too. This sound like the preliminary phase of something bigger.

Gunmen Raid Baghdad Security Firm, Abduct 50 Employees

BAGHDAD, March 8 -- Gunmen wearing what appeared to be the uniforms of Iraqi Interior Ministry commandos stormed a private security company in the capital Wednesday afternoon and kidnapped as many as 50 employees, an official of the ministry said. In an atmosphere of spiraling lawlessness, at least 47 people across the country were killed between Tuesday and Wednesday nights.
