The scary part is that these same feckless fools in the U.N. and other international bodies are acquiescing to this crazy stuff. And in typical Orwellian double-speak they claim to uphold "press freedoms" by restricting them!!

In Australia a Christian minister was convicted of defaming Islam for reading from the Koran in his Sunday sermon. No wonder the radical left and Islam find such a communion with one another. The fascist and totalitarian tendencies in both movements are identical, and have identical goals -- the destruction of the U.S. and of Western Civilization as we have known it.

A bloc representing the world's Islamic nations is marking World Press Freedom Day Wednesday by calling for urgent action to establish international law or a code of conduct aimed at preventing media from defaming religion.

The Saudi-based secretariat of the 57-member Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) said in a statement it was committed to press freedom, but that journalists should be deterred /ldblquote from premeditatedly vilifying, defaming and violating the rights of others."
