Modesty forbids

By Aussiegirl

Being of a modest disposition, Aussiegirl is not one to toot her own horn, but when unsolicited encomia are forthcoming, and especially when they are as charming as this endorsement from TJWillms, how can she resist? Thanks TJ! I hope other readers share your opinion. We try to please here at UT, and provide something of interest to a wide variety of tastes (but nothing which we don't ourselves find absolutely fascinating).

This is one of the things I most love about UT! You never really know what to expect! This "Snail Thing" story, to quote April, is a prime example! One day it's pure politics, the next a history lesson on religion, tomorrow who knows, it could be a stellar hard science piece the day after? Nothing escapes notice or remains off the table for long here. Cowper's "variety is the very spice of life" is not just some nifty sounding idiom here; it seems to be the underlying philosophy at UT that makes this such a fun, educational, and thought-provoking place to visit.

Cool piece Aussiegirl! Keep the great stuff coming!

I must echo TJWillms, and I'm sure I'm not the only other one who will as well. ;-) So toot away ... you've earned it! And keep those great posts coming!
