Promoting Hate

By Aussiegirl

Daniel Pipes, writing in FrontPage Magazine, pens a disturbing column on the promulgation of hate literature in American mosques by the Saudi government. This information was uncovered by the Freedom House by sending Muslim volunteers into mosques all over the United States and collecting various pamphlets, books and other literature found there. Here are some typical statements that they found:

Reject Christianity as a valid faith: Any Muslim who believes "that churches are houses of God and that God is worshipped therein is an infidel."

Insist that Islamic law be applied: On a range of issues, from women (who must be veiled) to apostates from Islam (who "should be killed"), the Saudi publications insist on full enforcement of the Shari'a in America.

See non-Muslims as the enemy: "Be dissociated from the infidels, hate them for their religion, leave them, never rely on them for support, do not admire them, and always oppose them in every way according to Islamic law."

See the United States as hostile territory: "It is forbidden for a Muslim to become a citizen of a country governed by infidels because this is a means of acquiescing to their infidelity and accepting all their erroneous ways."

Prepare for war against the United States: "To be true Muslims, we must prepare and be ready for jihad in Allah's way. It is the duty of the citizen and the government."

This naturally raises the suspicion among average Americans that we have as much to fear from the Saudi Government as we do from Osama Bin Laden. Is it a coincidence that most of the 9/11 hijackers were Saudis? Can the United States not apply some pressure on the Saudis to cease this sort of despicable and inflammatory propaganda? And if this is what we see in the United States, what is being promulgated in more Muslim areas of the world?

This is a cultural death-struggle, and this country doesn`t seem to get that. We have to be prepared for a long, hard fight. The Muslim world is determined to destroy us.

You probably know this already, but you can get in-depth analysis on a lot of Middle East related issues on Middle East Forum's website. I have a link to it on my website; it is on the Middle East Resources page.
