Brother Admits to Honor Killing

By Aussiegirl

An honor killing in Germany that was applauded by many Islamic high school students comes to a close with the trial of the brothers who murdered their sister. The approval of such barbaric acts against women in modern Germany among Islamic youth who have been born and raised there, continues to raise disturbing questions about the future of Western norms of civilized behavior in those countries. This is what Tony Blankley is talking about in his new book, excerpts of which you can read by scrolling down.

Brother Admits to Honor Killing | Germany | Deutsche Welle |

A young Turkish man told a Berlin court Wednesday that he murdered his sister earlier this year because he didn't approve of her lifestyle.

Three brothers from a Turkish immigrant family went on trial in Berlin Wednesday, accused of carrying out an "honor killing" of their sister -- allegedly out of disgust for her western lifestyle. One has already admitted sole responsibility for her murder.

The death of 23-year-old Hatin Sürücü attracted nationwide attention after she was shot dead with three bullets to the head at a Berlin bus stop last February.

When three of Sürücü's 5 brothers were charged with the killing, the case triggered angry debate about immigrant integration and democratic values within Germany's Muslim community.

As the trial began, the youngest of the three brothers gave a statement saying that he killed his sister because of her lifestyle.

Sürücü, who was divorced and lived with her five-year-old son, had made choices that he believed brought dishonor upon the family. He also said he committed the crime out of concern for his nephew's future.

According to prosecutors, Hatin Sürücü grew up in Germany and was forced into a marriage with a cousin in Turkey in 1998.

Her son was born in Berlin in May 1999, and Sürücü subsequently refused to return to Turkey. Six months later, she moved out of her parents home and began to train as an electrician, turning her back on her conservative family.

Her youngest brother told the court he had visited his sister at home before walking with her to the nearby bus-stop. When she defended her way of life, he pulled out the gun he said he had bought off a Russian, and killed her.

"I couldn't take it," he said.

But according to the prosecution's version, it was actually the oldest brother who procured the weapon. They believe that Ayhan. S. and the third brother then went to their sister's house and persuaded her to go with them under false pretences. Ayhan S. then shot her, while his brother was an accessory to the crime.

When I see crap like this I just want to scream! America is the Great Satan? Islamic nations need not look across the sea for a demonic presence, it’s a whole lot closer to home.

How can these fools think they are acting out Gods will, if someone troubles you Kill them! I’m not buying it! I admit to having only the most rudimentary understanding of Islamic principals but this is asinine in the extreme! An Honor Killing? Oh Please!!!!!!!!!!!

I wonder if the ACLU will file a "Friend of the Court Brief," defending the Sürücü brothers. Demanding that their judgment not run afoul of internationally approved multicultural standards. I mean the dead woman is after all well. . . dead, and no one need defend her anymore. Right?

This reminds me of a case here in St. Louis in the early `90`s in which an Islamic father murdered his daughter because she was becoming too American, and was engaged in interracial dating. The family agreed that they needed to kill her to prevent further violations of Sharia, so good old dad done her in (I think he stabbed her to death, if memory serves) for her own good!

Mr. Father-of-the-year received life in prison instead of the death penalty, since he was following his relgious convictions!

The whole point is that any religion which advocates or condones such monstrous behavior cannot be allowed free reign throughout the world (as it is now getting.)

This article you posted only proves the point that Islam is a culture of hatred and murder, and since Moslems have spread throughout Europe we are facing a a new dark age.

Everyone in the West had better wake up!
