St. Andrews Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral hosts weekend festival

Looking for something to do this weekend in the Washington area? Check out the Ukrainian Festival at St. Andrews Orthodox Cathedral grounds, Saturday and Sunday, September 17th and 18th from noon until dusk. Activities include Ukrainian dance and music groups performing on the outdoor stage, lakeside on the grounds of the Cathedral. Many crafters and other vendors of Ukrainian goods also come to share their talents and wares. Lots of Ukrainian food available. Cost is only $5 per day which gains you admission to all the concerts and activities. Be a Uke for a Day! Try it -- you'll like it! The church is located at 15100 New Hampshire Avenue in Silver Spring, north of the Beltway (not far from the Cloverly Shopping Center). Look for the golden domes on the left if you are coming from the beltway.
