National Geographic is a Holodomor denier

By Aussiegirl

Thanks to Cyber Cossack for giving us a heads up about the latest issue of National Geographic which features an article on Genocide that fails to even mention Ukraine. Worse still, they characterize the deaths in the Soviet Union as "murder of their own people". The famine stopped at the border with Ukraine and Russia, and any areas of Russia which were affected were areas heavily populated with Ukrainians or other unwanted non-Russian minorities. Check out Cyber Cossack for details on registering a complaint. Duranty-ism is still alive and well in the mainstream media, which continues to airbrush history of inconvenient facts.

Cyber Cossack

Don’t Buy National Geograhic… as it looks like Duranty has taken up residence there.

Really, how can there be an article on Genocide in this icon of intelligence - and not a single mention of Ukraine? Its like Sci Fi Magazine failing to note that a UFO crashed on the pointed ear exhibit at the Star Trek Convention!
