Ah, veritas, I see I've been remiss. I regularly follow your posts, but as regularly fail to comment on them, although I always take something away from them -- a pithy statement worthy of being quoted ("Being stupid should hurt"), or a good analysis of a failed president (Jimmah Carter, who else), or a concise description of a geopolitical reality (Country A [Palestine] vs. Country B [Israel]). Your posts, along with those of the witty and insightful Aussiegirl, and the funny and often quirky BonnieBlueFlag, help make this my favorite blog, so keep up the good work!

My dear Pindar, y'all come back now, y'hear??

Yes, it is true, and verily, that we take the wisdom of veritas for granted at times, like the rising of the stars at night should they come out but once a thousand years, all should come out to marvel at their wonders.

"Thank you" seems so inadequate a response, but it's all the English language affords me.

I do sincerely thank all those who find veritas worth reading, and I especially appreciate those who take time to reply and comment. I hope more comments will be spurred by future bits from veritas.

Last, I have a particular thank-you for the hostess who provides this forum and invited my participation.
