Georgia on my mind

Another suspicious death in Georgia, the apparent suicide by gunshot of an associate of the recently deceased PM Zhvania, who died of carbon-monoxide poisoning in the apartment of a friend. Coincidence? Or is there something rotten in the air in Georgia?

"Georgy Khelashvili, 32, was found dead at his home Friday night of a gunshot wound, said Tbilisi police official Irakli Pirkhalala.

Khelashvili was a member of the presidential commission on pardons. He also was a member of Zhvania's United Democrats political bloc.

... Though there was no immediate indication that the suicide was connected to Zhvania's death on Thursday, it is likely to add to the uneasy suspicions plaguing many Georgians after the passing of the widely respected prime minister."
