Should campaign-finance laws apply to blogs?

By Aussiegirl

Heads up!! They're coming for your blog!

Should campaign-finance laws apply to blogs? csmonitor.com:

"WASHINGTON If you're one of the nation's 30 million-plus bloggers - or among the 75,000 joining their ranks every day - keep an eye on Thursday's House vote on the Online Freedom of Speech Act.
Unless the bill passes, you may need a lawyer, if you discuss politics online. If it passes, you may still need a lawyer, if you spend more than $250 a year on your blog."

The American version of Canada's election gag law.

When it comes to the Left, what's not to hate?

It's getting easier these days to imagine how Ukrainians (and others) must have felt as communism steadily encroached on every aspect of their lives.

Depressing that such a proposal would even make it into your House.

Most bloggers make nothing, or next to nothing, doing what they do. There is absolutely no way this can be justified.

This may be the first big test of our new Chief Justice; how will the Roberts Court rule on this issue?

Can America still be called the Land of the Free if our government disregards the Constitutional protections?
