Ultima Thule welcomes American Thinker readers

By Aussiegirl

Thomas Lifson writes a fascinating column today on the tragedy facing New Orleans following the devastation of Hurricane Katrina. He graciously has included a link to Ultima Thule. Feel free to leave a comment if you wish and look around to see if there are other articles you find of interest. I will be posting more thoughts and background information on the emerging situation in our Southland today and in the coming days. We are seeing unprecedented events taking place and we are watching to see if our government is prepared and how well they do. We may be needing these kinds of services in the future if nuclear bombs or other catastrophic terrorist attacks strike our cities. So far the approach seems to be chaotic and incomplete at best. The military is needed as the highest priority to restore order, to rescue those still waiting in flooded homes and areas, and to begin to establish some sorts of shelters for the numberless victims of this huge disaster.
